Did you know that it takes over 250 volunteers to work in our concession and over 50 volunteers to help at work parties to keep our ballpark up and running during the regular season?!
We have a number of concession shifts yet to be filled and volunteers are desperately needed in order to keep our concession up and running! If we are unable to fill our vacant volunteer shifts, our concession may have to be closed on the beautiful days ahead at the park. If you have yet to complete your volunteer assignment, please use the link below and sign up immediately.
In order to receive your $75/child (up to two kids in the League) volunteer deposit back, you are required to complete a 3 hour volunteer assignment in either the concession or a maintenance work party. Anyone who has yet to volunteer and hasn’t provided their $75 volunteer deposit will have their photos withheld until the volunteer deposit has been received. Please provide your volunteer deposit to your Team Mom or have it placed in the Board of Director’s mailbox in the concession.
We have numerous concession shifts available as well as various maintenance work parties. Work parties include performing a variety of maintenance duties on the fields and around the ballpark and volunteers should bring their own work gloves and wear appropriate footwear. The list below includes all of our scheduled work parties. The work parties and the available concession shifts are listed on our Volunteer Spot website. If you’d like to sign up for a concession shift or work party, please click on the Volunteer Spot link below. Each concession shift and maintenance work party has a designated number of spaces available and volunteers will be on a first come, first served basis.
Major Diamond Maintenance Work Party #2 – Friday May 27th 6pm-9pm
Junior Diamond Work Party #2 – Friday June 3rd 6pm-9pm
Screen Project – we need to construct “L” fungo and sock screens for the batting cages and our enclosed ball diamonds. The League will provide the tube bender and notcher. Volunteers with welding or steel fabricating experience are needed. This work activity will be scheduled around volunteer’s availability (no defined time). Little League Batting Cage Painting Project – we are looking for someone to be the project lead for painting the exterior of the Little League batting cage building. Duties will include overseeing volunteers assisting with preparation and painting the wood siding and metal overhead doors. The League will provide scaffold, paint sprayer and sundry materials. This work activity will be scheduled around the project lead’s availability (no defined time). If you are able to assist with this project, please contact Gavin Burke at email@example.com
